HOT Engineering & Construction Co. KSCC (HOTECC) was established in 1974 as a Kuwaiti multi-disciplined engineering, construction and maintenance company serving oil and gas, industrial, civil infrastructure and building projects, as well as heavy equipment rental and non-destructive testing (NDT) services.

Its oil and gas work includes piping and structural steel fabrication and erection, electrical works such as substations, main and standby generators and cabling, and instrumentation and control systems. In infrastructure it delivers industrial civil works, roads, water and sewage networks and pumping stations.

Alemtiaz holds an investment in HOTECC, and the group relies on it for drilling location construction and heavy equipment rental.

Alemtiaz established Emtiaz Logistics Services (ELS) to provide logistical support to oil and gas operations and to group customers across different sectors.

The company delivers warehousing and supply solutions, from receiving and issue to inventory management, along with supply chain analysis, procurement, life and base support services, and manpower supply and HR solutions. It also offers vehicle leasing for cars, buses and trucks, operations and maintenance services, and IT support.

In aviation, ELS provides ground handling, cargo services, customs clearance and charter flights, together with meet and greet services for airport passengers.

Swanberg Kuwait is a joint venture between Alemtiaz and Swanberg Global Inc. of the USA, established to provide drilling rig transportation and related services in the State of Kuwait.

The company serves drilling contractors and operators by moving land rigs from one well site to the next, dismantling, transporting and reassembling each rig in a safe and orderly way that keeps rig downtime to a minimum. Every move starts with careful planning that sets out the equipment, crews, routes and schedule.

Its expertise covers rig move planning, heavy lifting, heavy handling and rig transportation, with mobile cranes, trucks and rigging equipment mobilised as each move requires.

Alemtiaz Oilfield Services is wholly owned by Alemtiaz and was established to provide specialised technical services to the oil and gas sector in Kuwait.

The company acts as the group's technical arm in the field, coordinating the services Alemtiaz delivers with its international partners, including artificial lift systems and equipment, well services, pipeline and process services, drilling support and technical manpower supply.

It works to the quality and health, safety and environment requirements of the national oil companies, and focuses on delivering on schedule in line with each customer's production goals. Full details of these services are available on the oilfield services page.

Sinopec Gulf Petroleum Services (SGPS) is a joint venture owned 51% by Alemtiaz and 49% by Sinopec International Petroleum Service Company, established to carry out drilling, workover and oil services through a strategic alliance between the two partners.

The company focuses on drilling, drilling support and workover services, cementing, mud logging and electric submersible pump (ESP) services, as well as trading and supply for the oil sector.

SGPS is also developing a new division for rig moves, location construction and other services that support drilling companies operating in Kuwait, drawing on the international partner's expertise and Alemtiaz's knowledge of the local market.

Alemtiaz established the International Aviation Technical Group (IATG) in 2009 to provide operation and maintenance services for aviation fuelling systems and equipment, together with advisory, auditing and training services in line with international standards.

Backed by a specialised national technical team, IATG works to raise safety and efficiency in fuelling and ground operations. Its services include:

• Aircraft fuelling operations and fuelling equipment maintenance.
• Ground handling services.
• Aircraft charter, sales and management.
• Customs clearance, forwarding and warehousing facilities.
• Supply of aviation fuel equipment and spare parts, and other related services.
