Privacy policy
This policy explains what data we collect through our website, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Alemtiaz Kuwaiti for Logistic and Oil & Gas Services Co., located in East Ahmadi, Block 9, Street 344, Building 163, First Floor, State of Kuwait. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@alemtiaz-kw.com or on +965 2228 8082.
What we collect
When you send our enquiry form, we collect the information you enter yourself:
- Your name and phone number.
- The service you need, the required capacity if you give it, and your area.
- The details you write about your request.
The website also adds to the enquiry automatically:
- The page the form was sent from, the language of the site, and the generator you asked about if you sent the form from its page.
- Campaign details if you reached the site from an advertising link, such as the traffic source, campaign name and Google or Meta click ID.
- A unique reference number that helps us follow up the enquiry.
To protect the form from spam, we use your device’s IP address in hashed form, which does not reveal it, only to count the messages sent within one hour, and we do not store the address with your enquiry.
We do not ask for sensitive data, and we ask you not to include it in the details field. If you contact us directly by phone, WhatsApp or email, we treat the information you share in the same way described in this policy.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a suitable quotation and follow up on your request until it is completed. We may also use it to improve our services, understand which pages and services matter most to our customers, and measure which advertising campaigns bring us enquiries. We do not use it for any purpose unrelated to your request or your business relationship with us, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Our basis for using it
We process your data because you asked us to contact you about a service, because it is needed to prepare a quotation or carry out an agreement with you, and because of our legitimate interest in running our business and meeting our legal obligations. To measure visits and advertising results we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how our website and advertising perform, or on your consent where the site asks for it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to answer and follow up on it, and then within our business records for the period our operations and applicable regulations require, after which it is securely deleted. If your enquiry becomes a contract, purchase or rental, the related data is kept in the customer file for the duration of our dealings.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. It is seen only by the staff handling your request and by the service providers that host the website or deliver email, and only to the extent needed to provide those services.
When measurement and advertising tools are active on the website, Google and Meta receive information about your visit and about sending an enquiry or tapping the call and WhatsApp buttons, so that we can measure the results of our advertising. This may include your IP address, browser type, cookie identifiers and the phone number entered in the form in hashed form, which does not show the number itself. These companies process the data under their own privacy policies.
We may disclose data if a competent authority requires it under the law.
Cookies and browser storage
- Preview cookie: set only for people who open a private preview link that we send to our clients. It holds a verification code that allows pages to be viewed before they are published, contains no information about you and expires after 30 days.
- Campaign details: if you arrive from an advertising link, the website stores the traffic source, campaign name and click ID in your browser for up to 90 days. They only reach us with an enquiry you choose to send.
- Measurement and advertising cookies: when we enable Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel, these tools set their own cookies to measure visits and campaign results.
You can delete or block these cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings, and the website and enquiry form will still work without them.
Your rights
You may ask to access the data we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it by contacting us by email or phone as shown above, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, to protect your data. If the site asks for your consent to measurement and advertising cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.
Security
We protect the website with an encrypted connection, limit access to stored messages to authorised staff, keep the website systems regularly updated, and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so we review and update our measures regularly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change, and we will publish the updated version on this page with the date of the latest update.
